Hi Everyone! I’m so excited! Today is the day I drew the name of the winner for the Canarygirl.com 1 year anniversary cookbook giveaway! Thank you all SO much for participating in the drawing, and for leaving your much appreciated comments. You are all just the best EVAH!

So…I decided to record a video of the drawing…but here’s the thing. I look like a TOTAL DUMBASS in the video. Please don’t hold this against me! lmfao I don’t normally sound so freakishly stoooopid, I was just totally nervous. I don’t do well speaking to a crowd. And apparently, neither do I do well talking to an inanimate object. Still love me?

For years now, I’ve been wanting to write a cookbook. With the help of Blurb.com I finally did it! :) Check it out if you’re so inclined. :D While in the planning stages of the book I waffled around a lot on how to organize it (like that food reference? lmao)….I spent countless hours in front of my computer narrowing down the choices. I literally have thousands of recipes (not all my originals, but still)…I decided to go for an international theme…kind of an “Around the world at your kitchen table” sort of thing. The book itself has 80 pages, with recipes from the US and Mexico, Spain (and a couple of other European countries), Asia and the Middle East. It’s available in hardcover and softcover.
