QotD: Secret Family Recipe

What's one family recipe that you wish you knew how to cook?

I can't believe it...2 cooking questions in one day!  So....what's the recipe I *wish* I could cook?   Ummmmmm.......Pecan Pie.  I have NO idea how to make it. My mom always makes a killer pecan pie...and then denies it.  Says she doesn't know the right recipe, that she just "wings it" every time.  Bull.  She makes the best pecan pie ever.  EVER. :P  And I don't know how.
